Obama Picks G.O.P. Ex-Congressman to Lead National Endowment for the Humanities

President Obama has announced that he intends to nominate Jim Leach, a former long-term Republic congressman from Iowa, to be head of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Leach was one of the first Republicans to endorse Obama’s candidacy. He is currently, a visiting professor of Public and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Princeton University.
