Polk Street: Lives in Transition posterThe exhibit “Polk Street: Lives in Transition” examines the history of Polk Street in San Francisco through the lens of current neighborhood change, focusing on the 1980s to the present. The exhibit opens this Thursday, January 15, at the GLBT Historical Society, 657 Mission Street. Talk by historian Susan Stryker at 5:30, with reception to follow.
